I've always left them a message on their recorder and they've always called me back. I've had mixed experiences on my survival rates from them but they've always been friendly and professional. When I had several chicks die from an order last year, they gave me full credit for the chicks that...
Just curious what you ladies' experience has been with the Shetland's? Someone told me they are frail and weak but I don't want to believe that since I really want to get some, but the truth is best either way. It would be great to hear about them from a real owner.
Howdy, Have you tried contacting your local high school's FFA program and/or teacher? I give all my extra roosters to the local high school and they use 'em to show at the fair and for 4H. Allen is a good looking dude, I wish I was closer. Good luck
Great job, thank you for taking the time to review this breed. I had no idea these Hyline chickens even existed! I like the personal stories that you shared along with the breed information. Stay awesome !
Haha. I don't know why but your comment cracked me up in a good way. The 'ol Hy-Line 76'ers..sounds like a defunct mens basketball team. Take it easy

Hello, I just saw your post. I'm from the central valley too, close to Kingsburg. I share with you in the pain of keeping chickens during the NON-STOP rains we had from December of 2022 all the way to what, like April of 2023?! Heck, we had the Tulare lake come back.
Tell that to grandma and grandpa with their 1 box of screws that just want to get through the line so they can get home and repair their gate and then eat their peaches and cottage cheese. Or the husband, wife or single mom on their lunch break. Some of you people have seriously lost all sense...
