Sadly we are down to two but they are dong really well, they will be two weeks old on Tuesday and I picked up two day old buff Sussex chicks today at the market

I was given 9 eggs 4 weren't fertilised 1 didn't hatch 3 are going strong but I think we will lose the 4th it's very weak.

3 even the one with the foot issue are running around but the 1st one to hatch seems to be getting weaker :-(

After reviewing the one I thought had a bent neck it's the chicks foot. In the photo above its the bottom foot toes are curled up and when placed on its foot it only stands on 1 leg the other stays curled up under

I have chicks hatched Monday and Tuesday the first 1 pipped its shell Monday and made very little progress over 12 hrs, we gave it a little help and in the end it cracked the egg opened itself but now it's in the brooder it still seems quite weak compared two the ones that hatched Yesterday, is...

4 hatched 1 didn't make it :-(

We now have two and another two hatching and there is moment in the last egg but no pipping and we are on day 25

1 has hatched with some help but the others are still hatching we noticed blood in the others so we left them

It's been over 12 hours and the membrane is going brown the chicks have also pipped in the wrong place not in their air sacks. Should I intervene?

The membrane is looking brown should I add the moistened paper towel, they have all peeped no where near the air cell.

I've removed 4 nothing in them 2 looked like they still have movement and 1 chirped but I'm a little concerned as the air bubble is almost half the size of the egg is there anything I can do for this 1 and I think 1 more may have died in the egg but I've left it just incase I'm wrong as this is...
