    I agree, They don't mention other feather colours than white for a DQ and It doesn't have to be a whole feather either. I have some chicks come in with white in the primary tips and they loose those on the first moult. If they carry the white as an adult cull them. Although the green sheen...

    Went to Ontario Poultry Breeders Show in Milton Ontario this past weekend. Reserve Breed with a Pullet Best of Breed and Reserve English with a Cockerel The field was only 9 Australorps and 4 were my birds. We have to get more Australorps out to the shows.

    You might have to drive there. It can't be that far. I drove from Peterborough to Banff once in 48hrs by myself, up to the Yukon and back then back to Peterborough in 42hrs. I put on 11800km in 15days with 6 days of rest.

    Yes, I believe the standard calls for tighter body feathers and smooth sweep on the back without transition. Perhaps the tail is a little high unless it's the way she's standing at the moment. Are you going to breed her back to a black with a clean face? She looks big!
