    I've seen a few eyes like that before, normally from fights with other quail. I would recommend just leaving it for a while, as they normally get better by themselves.     I've seen a few of those eggs, they can normally be fixed by feeding the quail grit or crushed eggshells. Because of the circumstances, it could actually be something else . . .

    Baby quail outside when?

    I would say 5 days is a little young, but once they get a little older, outside in the daytime is fine. They are ready to stay outside overnight when they have all their feathers.

    The girl isn't aggresive towards other quail, only towards humans.

    Will my button drown?

    I have a water bowl like this for my quail chicks. The part where the water comes out is very thin, so there isn't much chance of them being able to get in there.
