Cheeki Chick
I'm not new to chickens. I'm a little out of practice .
Born and raised in Cedartown, Ga, my family were farmers. I'm a sucker for animals and if they produce something, even better.
We've been wanting chickens but it always was just talk til now.
Right now we have three chicks and a Canadian gosling.
Not to mention 14 cats, 2 dogs, a parrot, a parakeet and three fish.
Animals have always been my fulfillment. I've been helping birth fur babies since I was seven years old. Strays tend to gravitate in my direction in most cases. Two years ago I bottle raised five kittens from two litters and two of those came to me at one day old, so I'm the only mama they have ever known.
I talk to all my animals and for the most part always get a positive response. Even the goose gets excited when she catches sight of me.
My husband and I have been married for almost 11 years. We started out sharing three dogs between us and things grew from there.
We both keep saying "No more" but ehhh ... We don't mean it.

- We'll, it all started one day when my husband rescued a Canadian gosling from the middle of the road. I googled it and discovered she needed a family and we bought the last three chicks the farm store had. Now my kitchen is too small and smelly and we're building a chicken coop and run. We intend to get at least 5 more chicks another goose and a couple of ducks.
