    I put the egg directly on the heat mat, I have a little cup of water in there and covered it with a Tupperware bowl. I didn't think it would work but I have 3 other viable eggs in there also.

    I don't know the breeds of them. My flock was killed last year so I got the ladies from a feed store. I have 8 babies right now, they are golden comet and I can't remember the others lol

    Thank you for the add. I've been reading your emails for 2 years now and never realized I wasn't part of the gang.. Lol. I've had chickens for almost 3 years now, my family and I love them. We have a rooster named Samson that we hatched in June of 2018
