    Failed to reorder hatching mat for Brinsea 24. Can I cut a plastic grid used for cross stitch to substitute?? Paper towels underneath.. and maybe on top?? I thought this was a good idea now I’m freaking out as it has to be put in today. Thanks

    Yes. Plumbers Tape. (An electric heat line, you attach/tape to the pipe). (I’ve used below soil in raised beds along w/upper cover and grown some fun stuff in winter)

    Well… sad update…. She was out and about having a good day yesterday…decided she Was Not broody... BUT she just didn’t make it. I found she died in her sleep in the hen house.😕 I think she was older than they told me- her legs looked a different color. Anyway- I’ll blame the heat combined...
