    Molting in fall?

I can only imagine the amount of feathers 30 geese leave everywhere! It makes sense that loss of feathers with re-growth would just be a natural process. I’m so thankful for the years of knowledge and willingness for people to share what they know.

    Molting in fall?

My two ganders, Ryan and Coco, are best friends. My goose Cheerio is a sweet girl, but not so nice to Ryan during mating season. I’m sorry you had to re-home a gander. That had to be hard. Fingers crossed, my ganders stay good friends.

My geese eat grass and Mazuri Maintenance with a...

    Gosling died from stress?

Yesterday I received 6 chicks and 2 goslings in the mail. All were robust, active, eating, and drinking upon arrival and when I last checked on them before bed. This morning I found one gosling between the wall of the brooder and the brooder heater, barely alive. I did everything I could do to...

Hello! Im new to chick and fowl ownership. I just received 6 two day old chicks yesterday and 2 two day old goslings through the mail—how exciting its been. My passion is for horses, but I think these birds will quickly become another passion. What is surprising is how complicated the care is...
