    Today while I was feeding my hens I noticed that one of them was Balding pretty seriously on her back i don’t think she is moulting because she is only 11 months old and it’s april. Here’s a picture of her back

    Haha yay that makes me really happy! I assumed it was a female because it's 5 and a half months old and it still isn't crowing I'm guessing that's just the breed? Also it's surprising that a male is so close to me! Whenever I go in the coop he will wadel over to me and will not mind eating out...

    Hi guys thanks for all the answers. This has really been helping me. A lot of people asked how old my violent rooster is. He is 5 and half months old. Also yes I do have another pen to keep him in. But I feel like it's useless to keep him if he is not with any females.
