    Fox got in our coop last night. Killed one and injured another. It got through the smallest opening. We ended up shooting the Fox 😔. We had to save our girls. Thankfully, my husband heard the chickens going crazy. It was at 2 am. Could we have done anything else to get the fox out of the coop...

    I'm torn

    I live in Ohio, I have 1 acre. I plan on giving the chickens at least a 4'x8' area. We have raccoons and I've heard of foxes in our area. Lots of deer and squirrels to but I am not concerned about them.

    New to this

    Hello from Grove City, Ohio, I am new to raising backyard chickens. I bought 6 cute little hens last week, 4 Rhode Island Reds and 2 New Hampshires. They are in the house right now. We will be working on getting a coop and run built this week. My daughters and I are very excited to have them.
