    Ameraucana Chick???

    Hello!! Someone got me a chick and said it is an Ameraucana, but I don't think it is which is a shame because I really wanted another Ameraucana to add to our flock. Any ideas what breed this chick is? Just curious, we will still keep her and raise her :) Thanks!

    10 week old chicks. Pullet or Cockerel

    My baby chicks are 10 weeks old. Curious if anyone can tell if they are boys or girls. 1. Is a ameraucana/Black copper maran mix. 2/3. They are black copper maran and some white chicken mix. 4/5. They are black copper maran and golden comet mixes. Thanks!

    Hello!! We recently just hatched an egg and are wondering if we can tell the sex, like a sex link, from it's mom and dad. The roo is a black copper maran. The hen is a brown Ameraucana. And also, would the wing test work? I know that can be less reliable. Thanks in advance!

    So it is the the umbilicus and it is drying up more. Not her vent so that's good. She seems well, eating and drinking and happy. Thanks for your info!

    Happy new year!! Today was super special bc we hatched our first egg. I'm worried bc it's vent is very big and not im not sure if this is normal. Any advice is appreciated!

    Thanks for that information. Yea my husband asked if I wanted him to put her out of her misery but for selfish reasons I'd rather her die on her own then by us killing her. I'd always wonder what if she was to get better even though I highly doubt it will happen. Her comb is getting darker...

    I didn't take a picture of her poop, but it was light brown liquid. I actually did look all over, and she is so boney it's bad. I gave her some scrambled eggs and she had one small bite. When I put her back in the crate her head went down so fast her beak hit the floor and I felt so bad. She...

    Hahaha yum. Well I was kinda hoping there was a egg so it could answer this mystery but it was soft. nothing was there. so I still have no idea what is going wrong.
