Looking for a coop builder in Denver, Colorado area

It's beautiful! I really like the siding, the black hardware, and all the personal touches. Well done!

Looking for a coop builder in Denver, Colorado area

That's terrible! Nice box that probably took him 2 hours and $50 in materials. At least now you can make it your own. That's what made me feel a little better about having to finish mine. The way it turned out is WAY better than Jason Cordova could have ever pulled off. On a happier note...

5280 Coops, LLC in Denver, Colorado - Anybody have any feedback?

I'm sorry to hear that you had the same terrible experience! It sounds exactly like my experience. We had a detailed contract, he made me feel comfortable, I gave him my money, and then the nightmare began. He used every excuse in the book: 1) his son got sick and was in the hospital, 2) his...

Yep, I learned a valuable lesson. He built up my trust and then got my money and didn't follow through. I'll never do it again but I certainly had to learn the hard way.

Hi Colorado chicken owners, I just wanted to follow up on this post regarding 5280 Coops owned by Jason Cordova and Christine Romero. I recommend that you save yourself a lot of time, money, and frustration and avoid doing business with these people. I had a very bad experience with them. In...

    Americauna? Pullet or Cockerel?

Well darn, I was hoping for a hen. I have a neighbor who has an Ameraucana rooster that terrorizes her flock and her family. I hope this one isn't like that! Thanks everybody for your time and thoughts.

    Americauna? Pullet or Cockerel?

Hi, I bought this chick as an Ameraucana 4 weeks ago and it's growing much faster than the other 5 chicks (various non-Ameraucana breeds) that I got at the same time. When I went on-line to see if I could figure out if she was a he, I started wondering if it was even an Ameraucana because she...

Sold as a Blue Andalusian, but looks like a Barred Rock - what breed is this?

Thanks for your responses, everyone! I was looking forward to a new breed for me but I love my 1 year old BR so I guess now she'll have a twin.

Sold as a Blue Andalusian, but looks like a Barred Rock - what breed is this?

Thanks! Yep, I already Googled images and that made me more suspect that it wasn't a BA. The barring seems more distinct on mine than any pics of BAs that I found. But, maybe there's still hope!

Sold as a Blue Andalusian, but looks like a Barred Rock - what breed is this?

Hi - I bought this chick yesterday - sold as a 7 day old Blue Andalusian. It looks just like my Barred Rock chick that I raised last spring. Thoughts? Thank you!
