    They are staggered and we decided to the hatched ones in a box with a heat lamp. I don't know how staggered they are but I don't think more than a couple of days. So after they all hatch should I put them all together with the mother hen and the other chickens

    We have a batch of eggs that have been incubated by a brooding hen. Two have already hatched but when I went to check they had fallen down because where she was brooding was in a raised box where the chicks cant get back to. I dont know what to do because she doesnt seem to be caring for them...

    So I don't know if this is the best place to ask this, but here it goes. My dog killed a chicken 2 days ago but I think she just broke its neck because there was no blood. It has been refrigerated ever since. Is it still safe to pluck and eat?
