    Thank you so much for all the input! I have been giving them some grit because occasionally I give them some meal worms. They love to search for food and I wanted to give them some nice things to search for as enrichment.

    Hey everyone, so my chicks are doing really well and they’re about two weeks old and I feel kinda weird only giving them crumbles because with my other animals I always give them cut up veggies and fruit. When can I start giving them some chopped greens? And would you guys recommend this?

    I’ve been following the week by week recommendation of most chicken sites and now my chicks are at the just right temp. But when you say it’s best to keep them cool at what age do you do this?

    So I’m new to this and I care for them very much so I appreciate all the tips. I just wanted to update everyone and say I got a much larger enclosure ( twice the size ) and the problems have vanished. Thank you so much!!

    The temp is around 90. He keeps holding his mouth open and keeping his wings off his body, especially when he’s resting. He’s eating and drinking.

    My 2 week old polish chick is showing signs of heat stroke but I keep checking and their temperature is where it is supposed to be. What could cause this??

    Hey there! So I recently got three chicks, they’re about 4-6 days old and the seller recommended some mealworms/waxworks for them to keep them entertained and make sure they’re active. So I fed them a few, 1-2 each. Now I find out that you shouldn’t feed ur chicks anything other than crumbles...
