We currently have 4, 9 week EE roos. And I'm sure more when we finally find out what all the lavender ameraucanas are. I have them for breeding purposes. Selling two of the EE roos. Keeping all the others. We have a lot of property and I bred all the current EES we have. I don't want a ton obv...
Thanks, they are tough!! I have one with shorter tail feathers and a huge beard and muffs with this same comb... hoping he's my only roo... but that's prob a dream lol. Waiting to hear them crow... my 9 week EE roos are crowing up a storm!
I hatched some Lavender Ameraucana's in March, they are about 8 weeks old now. A few look like this picture below and I was curious if the red on the comb was indicative of being cockerel for their breed?
I've had the most issues with the eggs I bought (lavender Ameraucana's) vs my own... had 2 not make it due to possible brain damage or nutrional def. And one tht had splayed legs (which are fine now). Hoping it's not genetic bc my plan is to breed them.
It finally happened! 1:30 am lol Happy Easter! This is my blk sex link x EE cross egg specifically for the HAL. So I'm 1/1 lol...
Other numbers...
March 22nd - 11/18 - Lavender Ameraucana's
March 17th - 7/7 Backyard mixes
I thought about getting that one but decided for what we needed this one was less pricey. I don't hatch regularly but they have awesome products. If I ever stepy game up , I'll def be getting one of those!
I'm sorry ... I had a really hard time with the hatch from someone else's eggs too... It's roulette I guess bc we don't know for sure quality or how they handled them... That really sucks.
My one egg for EHA has a pip!!! Whohoo lol.
(I have 22 other hatched chickies from earlier hatches this month)
I feel so lucky to have the 1 egg I set specifically for this to have made it so far.
I can't quote everyone but congrats to everyone with pips and peeps so far!
Oh and the egg...
