    I have 3 Golden Sebright Bantams that are 10 weeks old. I'm giving them away because I can't have roosters in my town, but one of my favorite chick turned out to be a rooster and he starts to crow now. He and his girls are very bonded so need to be adopted as a group. I'm in Fairfield County...

    I just brought a 50lb bag of grit and then I was reading the label, it says: "may contain greater than 0.1% silica" ... now I don't know what to do... Can I even give this to my chicken as grit?
