    Where do you get your Silkies from?

    I was getting them at bradshaw feed on bradshaw in Sacramento, ca. I don't get them anymore, keep dying, six altogether

    I had 2 Shepard's and a mut that got along real well with my chickens (4) 1 of my shepards died of back cancer so I got 2 puppies, they have killed all 4 of my chickens, so I guess it depends on the dog or the age of the dog.

    Boiled eggs like rubber and sometimes shell half empty

    I have 4 3 year old chickens all different breeds. There was no problems till about a month ago, I boiled 12 eggs and when I peeled them they were like rubber and about half of them were only half full with the yokes all at the bottom. They were not over cooked, could it be something in their diet.

    Treat for chickens

    If you are not faint of heart you get a plastic bucket, drill holes in the bottom and about two inches up the side all the way around, hang it about 1 1/2 ft. off the ground and place anything that will attract fly's.
