I may have had this problem before...
I have a Rhode Island Red, Ginger, and she isn't acting normal... She isn't moving as fast and has her eyes closed a lot. She is very strong chicken so this is strange. I was away for a few days and one of my family members gave them extra amounts of...
I was looking around to see if there could be anything i could identify... I kept seeing coccidiosis... I think she is pooping and an egg isnt stuck (this is from the vet) but she is puffed up, stands stil, and her eyes are half closed. Today I saw her eat and drink just fine, even her...

How long can they go without pooping? She might have not pooped for at least three days. That is probably serious. If she is not better tommorrow webare going to take her to the vet. Hang in there Rosie! I LOVE YOU!
I dont know how to check to see if there is a clogged up vent so should a take her to a vet? And to be quite honest, I dont really want to, but if I must for my little chickie then I will.
No she hasn't been wormed lately..... if she doesn't get better in the next few days I will go to my feed store and get some. But I just gave her some egg shells. Does that work the same as grit?
I have some good news! She was the first one out when I opened the door and she started pecking around for scratch on the ground! But she is still not the same. Her eyes are still half closed and her comb looks a little darker. Its good news, but should I get my hopes up?
When I went out to feed my chickens with some leftover salad and she did eat some. But her eyes were still half closed. I am still pretty new at owning chickens so could you tell me what that stuff means and how to do it. Thanks for your help.
