Recently a bird has been walking around our backyard, it isn't afraid of our dog only flies away when he walks near... Looks like some sort of quail and he/she also enjoys walking around, pecking the ground and wandering through the garden. Help me find what he is!
Recently I was swinging on my hammock and looked up to see a snake slithering above me on the panel... I instantly freaked out but I have a budgie living in my room with me.
I was thinking do snakes like to eat budgies???
Please give me some feedback :cd
You have some great questions there!!!
1. You don't really have to maintain a temperature really if they are freezing or cold they will huddle for warmth or cuddle up in the corner. It depends if your pen is closed up and no gaps or open door.
2.I don't think you shouldn't let them out as...
I don't think it is as long as you get to know them very we'll.
For example:
You should be able to go up to them without them screaming at you!
Not really needed but maybe once you get to know them hand feed them
If you don't want them to fly or run away clip their wings but if they've gotten...
The mother is obviously not wanting to care for her babies
If you see her pecking her other babies who are about to hatch,
And you don't want them to die then you are sure to care for them yourselves
I wish you the best of luck :cd
4 weeks is when your supposed to turn off the light!
With my babies though I am keeping on the light because it's a bit colder over my place!
Other than that during the day they should be fine!
Wish you well!! :cd
Maybe You should have 2 plates so when she pecks in the opposite direction she gets the otherside?
I hope these little guys get well soon and they survive through all this!
Your great for keeping them!
Get well soon and I wish you all the good luck! :cd
When you first give them water you have to properly introduce them!
Poke your beak in the water and they will drink it!
It's either this or they are drowning in it
Which does depends how big your water bucket or container is
I hope this helps :cd
