yes, he is not with the flock... I wouldn't want them to get infected.
I do give him food and water every day. I give him worms too for the protein as well as mashed pellets and water. And I have poultry electrolytes that I put in the water I give him...with an eye dropper I am making sure...
To tell if she was egg bound...
Look at her butt, are her butt feathers all gunked up with yellowy poo?
Feel her abdomen/kinda between her legs, does it feel swollen and kind of hardish?
if yes, then that's how you would have known.
Maybe she is egg bound.
When you said yellow and runny poop, that's what makes me think she is egg bound.
If you can pick her up, feel her sort of abdomen/butt area like between her legs kinda. Does it feel hard/swollen? Does she sit all poofed up and huddled?

A few of you suggested it could be cocci..I looked that up a bit on the internet but I'm not sure if that's it. It said the disease occurred mainly in young chicks but my Rooster is almost 7. Also it said the droppings would be bloody and his aren't.
I'm going to try feeding him again this...

This afternoon I went to someone who has raised chickens for decades; he's into farming and all. He suggested I give Rooster some cod liver oil which would help maybe if his body was lacking something.

no his belly does not feel hard. He has been this way for only the past week or two, but doesn't seem visibly sick besides the listlessness and just standing around.
His feathers are all nice and his comb looks still red and healthy.
He won't eat/drink anything though which is what worries...
