Removed the pen and gave them access to part of the yard. They have access to coop at all times before locking that secures them inside at night to roost. Had to protect elephant ears from being messed up. Gave them cantaloupe rinds and some tried to follow me out the gate.

Thank you, did a little work on inside of coop today and set poles for when I expand the area they are on the ground. How long do I continue feeding them this Nature's best and any suggestions on what feed to switch to and when should I return to plain fresh water?
Rearranged to inside of coop, gave them more space and places poles for extension of covered area. Chicks were perching today and went in the coop by themselves.

Had to treat chicks with Corid on Sunday the 24th after seeing blood spots in stool and has cleared. Haven't seen any blood since treated. Chicks are starting to perch and go into coop at dusk.
