    So what is the deal???

    I had some shipped guinea eggs. All the keets that did hatch were deformed and died. The rest of the eggs never developed or started to develop deformed keets that did not even hatch. Never thought of the shipping may of caused it. I just thought I had bought bad eggs.

    I tink it may just depend on the rooster. I had a ram I played with and he was like a puppy dog. Sweat as could be. My best friend did the same thing and her ram got super mean and had to be put in a pen where feed was dumped over to him as he would break your leg with his head butts. I know...

    Blue, Black and Splash Orpingtons - Central Virginia - last call

    I wish I lived close to you. I want blue, black, and splash orpingtons. Right now I have buffs and I put a few blue mutts in there so hopefully they will cross and have blue orpington looking mutts but it would be so much easier to just start with purebreds.

    I've seen the same thing at swap meets. People's chickens are either in really great shape or really beat up. There are always tons of roosters also. I have not been to an auction yet as I don't know of any around here. I used to go buy horse stuff at auctions but it was so sad looking at...

    I have some from them that I bought from someone who got them from there. They are very healthly and doing quite well.
