I have 26 chickens (for now....) and definitely want more. I'll introduce you! My rooster's name is David, and he is my one and only roo. Then there's the almost 3-year-old gals, Big Mama, Baby, Fatcheeks, Falcon and Speckles. The 9-month-old pullets, Squishy, Shiver-Me-Timbers, Jellybean, Houdini, Chickpea, Icecream, Cutsie, Lion, Gabby and Spaghetti. The leghorns, Squash, Dandelion, Snowflake and Charcoal. The Easter Egger pullets Owlet, Cleopatra and Puffhead. The Amberlinks, Amber and Brownie. And Fudge, our only mixed breed. Her dad is a Brahma and her mom is a Barred Rock. All together the breeds I have are: Australorps, Buff Orpington, Easter Eggers, Speckled Sussex, Dominique, White Leghorns, Dixie Rainbows, Isa Browns, Amberlinks, Silver Laced Wyandotte and the Brahma/Barred Rock. Counting Fudge as one breed, thats 11 different types of chicken! I'm trying to decide whether that's funny or sad.
