    None of my eggs hatched 😓 I'm 80% sure it was fertility problem (but I haven't cracked any open yet), we knew the rooster as "the lazy rooster" but I would never have expected him to be THAT lazy, man was locked up with those ladies for 2 months for crying out loud. So, my hatch was a fail 🙃

    Oh that's very interesting! We have 7, 6 week old EE pullets right now and I'm excited to try and identify the markings and colors even with them being pretty mixed pattern wise. I'm definitely going to look that book up and hopefully get a copy, thanks for the tips!

    Does anyone know what would happen if I bred a silver Ameraucana hen with a brown red Ameraucana roo? Would the babies be Easter Egger looking (anything under the sun, broken kinda coloring, random) or would they be silver or brown red? I am wondering because they are my only ameraucanas at this...
