    I live in Texas so my birds are never cooped during the day so we don't need more than 4 per bird. It really just depends what your climate is like.

    Prefab coops aren't usually well made (and very expensive). The best thing would to make one or get a local carpenter who is willing to make it. Personally I couldn't make one so I got the Omlet Eglu Cube coop with run. It was expensive but my 6 chickens love it and it is very easy to move...

    1st and third are pullets 2nd might be a cockerel Hard to tell with the others (silkies can't be sexed that young)

    Sav-a-chick is good. I would feed scrambled eggs (for protien) and make sure it's eating and drinking properly. It could just be a sprain or a vitamin deficiency.

    No idea, but I'm hoping someone else does as I have a chick that's feathering in just like that!
