    Thank you for the advice. Surgery was complete and she seems to be handling recovery well so far.

    Marilyn update: we did have the wing removed at the elbow and have her on antibiotics. She’s eating and drinking and is generally perky. Assuming we contained the infection we are thinking prognosis is good.

    Yeah we’re thinking that with the forewing completely exposed infection is going to be the battle.
