I am a homemaker and artist from Illinois. I've been raising backyard poultry for over 10 years now and just can't see life any other way.
Along with my birds I also like to overwhelm myself with gardening and trying to make all my own food and household items.
Once upon a time I was going to sell my house and go live in the woods...for real, this was my plan. I have calmed down since and have given up the off grid dream. I now enjoy electricity and flush toilets.
