@Itsamidge I'm so sorry. That's the same thing that happened to my bird after her vet appointment she went down hill. I think it was too stressful for her. Will you be putting her down? I was so hoping she would pull through this!

HELP!! Sick Chicken, Can't Walk, Several Issues

@Itsamidge Yeah make sure you keep her warm when letting her soak in a bath. Like make sure the water stays warm enough but not too hot. Not all birds like the water, I know it relaxed mine a lot. I hope she passes the egg soon!!!! Did you ever try getting it out yourself? I know it could go...

HELP!! Sick Chicken, Can't Walk, Several Issues

@Itsamidge Definitely read that site that someone posted earlier on this thread. Just keep her comfortable and resting. If she makes it through tomorrow I would definitely try to get her to the vet. I can't think of anything else you could do for her that I haven't mentioned.

HELP!! Sick Chicken, Can't Walk, Several Issues

@Itsamidge Okay.... I'm not sure what else you can do besides trying to remove the egg yourself without breaking it. Did you examine her internally? Try the preparation H cream and load her up with some calcium. You can even crush a little Tums in her water for the calcium. Lube her up good to...

HELP!! Sick Chicken, Can't Walk, Several Issues

@Itsamidge It looks like it to me but I can't zoom in to see. Did you get the egg to come out? I think my best advice to you would be to take her to the vet sweetie. I hate to see you lose her and I am not sure if that is blood or not. If the egg breaks inside the yolk is very toxic and will...

HELP!! Sick Chicken, Can't Walk, Several Issues

@Itsamidge Be careful with checking the egg you can break it. There are YouTube videos on how to check. I know you have to go straight back when inserting your finger. I know putting a little preparation H (any hemroid cream or lubricant) can help with passing. Give her lots of calcium... warm...
