Weird thing - this afternoon we found 2 eggs in our coop. Only one of our chickens is old enough to lay (our silkie) the other is only 3 months old. We had checked the coop earlier in the day and there weren't any eggs.

Hey, I have a question about my silkie pullet (she laid her first egg last week ) She doesn't have any comb at all. Is that normal?

I have a problem with slugs after so much rain. They get in the coop and the chickens water. AND my chicken doesn't eat them

Does anyone here have Australorp pullets. If so how are their temperments? Also will they get along with my silkie pullet? I have been eyeing them they look awesome!

This is my new silkie. She (we are pretty sure it's a she) is supposed to be 2-4 months old does anyone know what age she could be more specificlly?
