Good luck. I have had disappearances. Ended up sitting out one night and found a dog jumping a 4 foot gate. Had to replace the gate with a 6 foot tall one. My chickens are not kept in a coop I let them run free on a 1/4 acre they have a coop set up but they prefer to sleep in trees and lay eggs...
I do not keep my emus with my chicken and duck flock. My emus were acting aggressive with my hens when they were 3 months old and they had been raised together. My emus are now a year old. They get along with my dogs which are 3 chihuahuas and a large dog (I don't know what breed he is).
I am new here. Just joined. I have had a variety of hens and roosters for about a year now both bantam and standard. Also have a few ducks and my pride and joy 2 emus!
