    We have a trout pond and we feed them floating fish food…the chickens won’t go near the pond but my ducks….well that’s another story! 🥰🦆

    Ahahah I love your description! Yes we have some heat but the cold is pretty damn 🥶 cold! I try my best to embrace it but it’s definitely hard, I’d like to act like a bear and hibernate if I could! And I am far from being a gardener!

    I have a ton of dandelions and the only thing that eats them is our indoor rabbit! And I agree, it’s ok, they are pretty!

    I understand and totally appreciate any and all feedback and opinions. That’s why I signed up, posted and asked. I am new at this whole chicken and duck raising thing! My first reaction was to brush my ruffled feathers back down and educate myself….that’s why I’m on here! Thank you for your message.

    Ahaha and I raked out the run they stay in when I cannot be here to chase them! Oh my! Lol. I’m surprised I didn’t sweep or vacuum their run too! 🤦🏻‍♀️😂. I’ll go right now and toss some leaves in there for next time they are cooped up!

    Thank you! Yes, my ladies have free run, I just came back from collecting them from the front yard( closer to the road than I’d prefer ). I definitely get my Fitbit steps in each day that’s for sure! The ladies have 6 acres of green trees, grass and bushes behind the house but absolutely love to...
