Hi, my ameraucana got attacked by something and has a big tear in her skin right above her leg. I'm wondering what I should do? I have washed it off and she is in a rubbermaid in my room. Any tips or comments would be appreciated.

buff orpingtons are a fair sized chickens so hopefully it's a hen plus their duel purpose chicken so they grow fast.

For the dog thing I think it works better to slowly accustom the dog to chickens so hold it by the collar and each day bring it closer to the chicken coop, when it shows signs of aggression back away. Teach your dog to be accustom to chickens.

My experience with buff orpington are that the roosters are calm.
