    I would think if it was feather picking, at least one of my other 8 hens would show signs of being picked, unless this one is extra tasty, lol. Also I would think I would see her getting picked at least once in the last few months. But its a possibility.

    We have 1 rooster. The feed i think is 16% protein but they free range all day as well. Have never seen any picking going on and the other 8 hens look fine. We have not treated for lice but will research that.

    It sure looks like it but she is laying? And its been a couple months of progressively getting worse. She seems happy and goes about her business normally We ordered some aprons and they just arrived today so will be putting one on tonight. But that wont help the chest etc...

    Agreed...def. pure bantam Brahma or some cross with a bantam of another breed and a brahma. Looks to much like a buff brahma though to be a cross. .

    Just an update to end the thread, Gandalf, Abed, Chip and Oreo were cockerals. Dale and Sprinkles are pullets. We kept Gandalf, Sprinkles and Dale it was a hard decision which roo to keep though. Thanks everyone for the help!
