Im going through the same thing, I went to an avian vet. they used a soft alluminum splint @90 degree bend covered with foam and then used coban to hold it on. My bantam cochin roo was attacked by something a month ago he could barely limp lost all the feathers from his hind, wouldnt eat. @ days in the house and he began to eat again, a week later he was able to go out again. your roo might be in shock. I cannot answer, I have no chickens, no roosters and no guineas. If I were to reply it would be an admission of guilt. I just found out there are a whole bunch of rules to keep chickens, I have Patagonian ground parrots.- chickenp

I know from working at point loma there are foxes out there. The Navy in its infinite wisdom set up automatic waterers for ducks one year, then stocked the area with 50 ducks. the foxes ate well for the week, experiment over. The foxes live on the rabbits. Im just finishing a slightly larger version based on catabwas picture, I went with 5 foot long triangle legs rather than 4'.
