I wouldn't describe it as a streak from one end to the other. More of a smear, all the way around the egg.
I haven't pulled a "close" inspection of my hens but I've looked to see if I see anything and nothing. I figured they are all white...

I did a search on this forum for previous post and see that blood ON the egg shell can be normal.
My chickens have been laying since August. Just this week we have started getting one egg every day with blood on the shell.

Well, we discovered today that our "ChickenPrison" is not totally Predator proof. We were just beginning to get 11 eggs a day.
Only 5 today.
Found 6' long black snake with at least two whole eggs inside it on top of nesting box.
