Hen having a hard time walking

I guess there is a possibility she got it to something. They all free range and have access to and roam over a few acres, mostly wooded. They tend to split there days between the woods and pasture. Her poop was looking normal until I put her in isolation and she stopped eating as much. Haven’t...

Hen having a hard time walking

Although on second thought it does seem that her crop or something around her crop is pulling her down and out of balance whenever she tries to stand. Now she’s not even standing at all. Every time she attempts she hurls forward and does a nosedive :(

Soft shelled egg and lash, salpingitis?

Thanks for the reply! I’ll do some sleuthing and try to figure out who the sick chick is and in the meantime order some Baytril so I have it on hand. I’ll let you know her weight when I figure out which lady it is. As of now they all have their tails up and are acting normal, but it’s gotta be...

Soft shelled egg and lash, salpingitis?

Hey All, First time posting here! I’m fairly new to Keeping chickens. I have 10 RIRs that are all around 18 months and this morning while collecting eggs I found a soft shell egg with a some lash and poop. Not sure if this could be salpingitis? All of my hens seem to be acting normal and are...
