    Hello from South Africa!

Hello @Karoo permaculture . In the end I never built it, I found 2 x broken cabinet incubators for sale and fixed them up. One is now being used as a dedicated hatcher (capacity of about 350 eggs) and the other is a dedicated incubator (capacity 1056 eggs) This setup has been working really...

Your best bet would be a lady called Edda Ourtaev. She’s in George and I bought from her before.

    Hello from South Africa!

Hello. I will document the build once all the spares have arrived, and will then share when it’s done.

    Hello from South Africa!

Thanks! I’ll do that, I’m still waiting on spares to arrive before I start the build. It will be fully automatic with turning, 4 x 88 egg trays. I could make it bigger by adding more egg trays but this size is what I need right now. I’ll document with pictures and share when we’re all done!

    Advice on Araucana

Hi, I have only one Araucana (not sure of its sex yet). I also have some Black Copper Marans, Ameraucana, Easter Eggers and Rhode Island Red. While the best would be to get more Araucana, what would I get if I crossed with either of the other breeds I have? I assume crossing with Easter Egger...
