    No, I don't want to move the nests at night. It is simply a roll a way nest box with a single access roost in front, on hinges to go up and down, allowing hen access to nesting box.

    That does not make any sense to transfer birds from a cackellac for day time grazing to a coop at night, as it would stress the birds out.

    The fact you provide the animals in the cackellac with fresh grass every time it is moved is worth any potential risks with predators. My broilers are in one now and no one is having a better time than them!
