Cornish Rock cross finished size issues
We only grow them during the cooler times here in florida, years earlier batches that did run into July we got 7-8lb birds. That wouldn't account for the birds that barely made it to a pound after 11 weeks, they are the size of what a regular chicken would be at same age. From the beginning...- Chickenvy

We have purchased 2 large number batches of cornish rock cross meat bird chicks from two separate hatcheries and the birds have been, to say the least, a huge disappointment, (a year apart raised as Joel Salatin does).
