What age should a chicken be when a de-worming program is started? With the older chickens I usually begin the first treatment with Wazine and thirty days later...follow uo with Valbazen. Is this advisable for young chickens as well? My younger flock is about 14 weeks and another flock around 20...

The hen house has a dirt floor. I've just started putting shavings in it so there is not a heavy build up collected. It's just dry.

My little leghorn hen that was sick is much better. She is eating and walking around. She lost a lot of weight but is acting so much better. Is there any special food I should give her to help her gain some weight? Should I give her some type of suppliments? Thanks for your help.
