    Well, James is a stubborn dude and doesn’t want to chill in the chicken seat.... he keeps struggling to get out. Any tricks to keep him seated? I really think he needs off the leg for a little bit but he insists on limping around.

    I got what I hope are Rhode Island Reds today from TSC....But I think they are actually Rhode Island Reds....I googled before I bought. I lost my sweet RIR today and desperately hope that one of these new girls (I hope) will have the same great personality.

    Well, I had to rush another chicken to the vet when she got hit by a car this morning. Took James along since getting to this vet is fairly time consuming....the answer: they don’t know. He doesn’t have any breaks or tears. Guess it’s just a sprain that gets worse as his big butt waddles...
