Okay thank you. She’s acting completely normal, drinking and everything. But I do have an appointment on Tuesday for her to see the vet..but hopefully I can cancel it

    Crop issues

She does not but I can try that. Should I give the grit alone? She has a little bit of pasty butt, I haven’t seen much stool from her. I gave her some olive oil last night, so hopefully it’ll do something for her! Thank you

    Crop issues

I have a chicken who I noticed had a larger crop (I’ve never dealt with this before) On Sunday I separated her, withheld food for about 36 hours only giving her water. She’s been on monistat since Sunday. I have given her a tiny bit of scrambled egg here and there, but mostly withholding...

    Frost bite or infection???

Hi! A little back story, this hen was injured and was inside for a few months healing. I took her back to the coop and the other chickens were not accepting of her, except for one. So I took both of them out and put them in my garage (also because I was having issues with my coop and weather)...

    Chickens attacked by dog

I posted the pictures of them. They are kind of hard to see, I don’t know if I should trim the hair, or leave it. I immediately went and got the silver honey spray. I didn’t even think to clean anything, I called my brother in law and he said to spray that on them. Should I try to clean it now...

    Nesting area vs sleeping area

    Nesting area vs sleeping area

Thank you! I’ll attach some pictures and if you have any idea of where to put the nesting boxes, roosting area I’m 100% open to ideas! (It’s not done yet so things can be changed/added)

    Nesting area vs sleeping area

Here are a few pictures, it’s clearly not fully done, and open to changing/adding to it. Just wondering where everything should go!

    Nesting area vs sleeping area

Hi! I’m new to chickens and my chicks are getting close to going out into their coop. I’m having second thoughts about our coop. I’m also a little confused. Are the chickens suppose to sleep in their nesting area? Or is the nesting area and where they sleep supposed to be two separate areas?

    Baby chick poo concerns

We let the older chicks pick at some water melon, and lettuce. But that’s every once in while, not a daily occurrence
