Hello pluckingawesome (great name!) Congrats on your first eggs :-) sounds like you have your hands full with all those animals! I'm new to chicken-keeping, just hatched out a few bantams with the kids in June and some of them started laying recently. I'd love to hatch a few more to be honest...- chicknovice123

Hmm actually even with bantam eggs, 6 is a bit much :lol: Oh no warriorgal- it's so hard saying goodbye to part of the gang...I still miss our boys now and the little flock seems completely different. Haha, I've no idea really but when I had my 3 boys, they would only seem to go after the girls...I never saw them trying it on with each other ;) will be interesting to see how it goes with popcorn :pop Yeh - we're doing well for eggs thanks :) 2 of the marans are laying every other day...still...- chicknovice123
