    Well, Oscar was a stud in the coop but a dud in the pot. I cooked him in the pressure cooker. After cooking, dh deboned him. There was about 1 cup of meat on him. I'm sure the hens will happily gobble him up in the morning. They need the protein to help grow their feathers back.

    You are right on the nose on this one. With 50 hens, I don't remember getting an egg that was NOT fertile. I always like to check and with the exception of very young hens just coming into lay, every egg was a bullseye. Sunnyside, LOL!!! Those are gross!
