I am doing a 4-H chick program where I get 5 purebred standard chicks. I will get the chicks at the beginning of March.
There are 3 breeds I have a chance of getting. I will either get Rhode Island Reds, Novogen Silver or Copper Marans.
I am hoping I end up with Marans
I still like the cross breeds but mine are show chickens so I can't have the crossbred chicks.
But since they are only the second group of chicks to hatch at my house I will probably keep them but I would like to try to not get any more crosses
