    Scaly leg mites

Yeah I wouldn’t sell the eggs or the meat until the withdrawal time, but can I still hatch the eggs or are they not going to hatch then?

    Scaly leg mites

So can i eat the meat birds if i use ivermectin…? Or do we just butcher later than usual if we use it

    Scaly leg mites

Would scaly leg mites kill the birds? I have had around 7 birds go sort of paralyzed and die a few days later, one of them had scaly leg mites. Should I just treat the ones that I can see have it, or all the birds? Also should i put vaseline on their legs?

    Scaly leg mites

Most of the layers have it, havent had a good look at the older chicks yet. The meat birds are in a different pen right beside the layers. I sell eggs from the layers and I also sell fertilized eggs for hatching.

    Scaly leg mites

How do I treat over 200 meat birds and layers for scaly leg mites? It would take forever to soak all of their feet in water and put vaseline on them, and I’m not sure if i can use ivermectin as these are meat birds ready to be butchered in a month or so and layers.
