Thanx SO much. I did despur him last night so as to handle him easier & separated him to his own area in our shed. On my way home now & will clean and soak his feet. Ill keep you posted. Again...THANK YOU.

He is a little over 4yrs old. These are the only pics I could get but he has clay on his feet too. You can see the swelling & redness tho.

My Rooster will not bear weight on one of his feet. I cant find a wound or puncture but it is kind of swollen. Has some redness on top of foot. Any ideas? I've soaked it in Epsom salts but not sure what else to do.

Update on my silly duck....she successfully hatched 2 healthy chicks.... one chick she loves (fat amy) & one she doesnt (pj). I cant tell you how many people stop to watch that baby chicken following that duck around lol. The other chick has chosen my son Chris to be his mom & also follows him...

Well, so far, no good. One of the chicks hatched & didn't make it. I dont know if she just didn't survive or if the duck killed her or if chickens killed her...just found her in yard with the duck going crazy. With the duck off her nest, however, I was able to snatch her eggs & candle them. All...

I do have an incubator so I guess Ill see what happens. She is a fat duck lol. I'm not even sure what kind of duck she is. I'll post pic tomorrow.

Our duck is sitting on approx 10 duck eggs, which may or may not be fertilized, & approx 10 chicken eggs that are for sure fertilized. I'm thinking the chicken eggs should start hatching any day now but another 12 or so days til the duck eggs would hatch. My concerns are whether or not she will...

Can someone tell me the average time between INTERNAL pipping & EXTERNAL pipping?? I know she has internally pipped cuz I hear her cheeping in there, but no outer pip yet.

Well, he was doing great I thought, but he passed away just a lil bit ago. Poor guy.

I got them to load to my profile on here but cant embed them. It says they are there but not. There are 3 pics in my default folder of this newest chick. I'll have to use desktop tomorrow.
