    I think offering him eggs is great, I have done this too. You also have the right to talk to him only when you are giving him eggs. It is like a cranky rooster- just feed him every time you see him. What is that old saying about people (apparently applies to roosters too) the way to a mans'...

    how to handle power outages with new hatched chicks (curious, NOT emergency)

    WOW, good question, I guess I would put them in a rubbermaid tub, and put the tub over my warmest house furance-vent. Keeping the lid on to keep in the warmth but crack it for ventilation. humm you just gave the the perfect excuse to get that back up generator I have been wanting...jk about...

    Help! My wife is mad at me for feeding the chickens pizza!

    Funniest pic ever! I have given them crust off my pizza, bc they say not to give them dairy. But if they are ok, well clearly it was fine. After all- what a new year it has been for everyone!!! But I MIGHT keep it to only the new year's day celebration ;)

    Maybe you could move the chickens to a warm place, and air out the coop for awhile or put a dehumidifier in there. I do not know how big your coop is. But these might be good steps. Good luck!
