Sort of sad hatch- 6 of 13 eggs in an old LG, ZERO of 18 in a new still air LG that had temp spikes on and off after day three-
still happy with our 6, need 1 or two to be a Rooster as Foghorn is getting along in years......
My first popped out at 9:30 this morning- I thought this was a day early but I am a pretty-much beginner- I've got two more crackin out now, hoping for a few more!
Sorry to hear all the folks praying for rain- besides chicks ducks and other critters, we've got 6 Newfies and we hope it doesn't rain here for a long, long time (snow and freezing is GREEEAAAAT!!!)- makes for lots of muddy paws...........and messy floors...

I'm a beginner so it is golden comets x SPCA adopted purported leghorn rooster (Foghorn). this summer hens from this match laid tons of super nice medium brown eggs.
12 each in 2 LG's, one still air, one circulated.

Yup- I t all melted, then we got a new 1 inches on Thanksgiving, which is also gone, and got a nice fresh white coating of about 3 inches on the ground here now-
Lake effect stuff is pretty amazing, I have a place about 24 miles straight north of here near Niagara Falls, and there is nothing...

We picked up just under 7 feet that week- By far ( a few more feet at least) no where the worst of what fell north and west of us by just 4- miles-We started slow while areas just north got hammered, and then it got us good on 19 & 20- When a storm door fell off of our "coop"...
