I have netting over my run to keep them in and hawks out. I bought it at Lowe's and it's to go over fruit trees to keep birds off the fruit! It's worked great for over a year.getting ready to put more over a new run. Still may clip wings on the new pullets till they're used to it.

Hi all I'm having trouble with my hens pulling tail feathers out of my rooster. He is new in the coop with 2 , 2 year old hens. He's probably 5 months old and is being hen pecked. I've read of a spray to stop this, but will those feathers grow back. They aren't crowded at all maybe bored :( .
